About the Event

The 2025 legislative session was a significant one for Colorado’s renters! During this presentation, Colorado Poverty Law Project Deputy Executive Director, Jack Regenbogen, will discuss the policy and legal changes that will affect tenants, including new laws to bolster rights for tenants who experience gender-based violence, expand protections for tenants of subsidized housing, broaden avenues for enforcing existing laws, and more. This seminar will also explore the impact of these policies on equity and access to justice in Colorado.

This seminar is free and open to lawyers, legislators, policy advocates, neighborhood representatives, community organizers, case workers, health professionals, and anyone else involved or interested in these issues. For lawyers, the seminar has been submitted for 1.0 general Colorado CLE credit and 1.0 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion credit.
